The Rockhurst University Regents organization was established in 1955 and members served as ambassadors, fundraisers and mentors to the University. Throughout the past 56 years, the Regents organization welcomed civic and business leaders who shared the mission and goals of Rockhurst University. This talented group of individuals was willing to give their time, talent and resources in order to strengthen the University’s distinctive mission of “Learning, Leadership and Service in the Jesuit tradition”.
In most recent years, the Rockhurst Regents participated in campus events by attending Mass of the Holy Spirit, Finucane Service Project and Alumni Night at the Ball Game to name just a few. Regents also actively served as mentors in the classroom.
In 2011, the organization was officially retired. All Regents enjoy the distinct honor of serving the University in the role of Rockhurst Regent Emeritus. This important constituent group remains a vital part of the University and supports the strategic goals of the University.
